Are standing desks worth it for an office?
Alternating between sitting and standing helps reduce discomfort and fatigue for many people. Sit-stand desks also adapt to different users, which makes them a flexible long-term investment.
What height range should a sit-stand desk have?
A good desk adjusts low enough for shorter users seated (around 24–26 inches) and high enough for taller users standing (around 48 inches or more). We’ll match the range to your team.
Can existing workstations be converted to sit-stand?
Often, yes — height-adjustable bases or desktop risers can be added to many existing workstations. Ask us to evaluate your current furniture.
Electric or manual standing desk?
Electric desks adjust at the touch of a button and are the most popular choice for offices. Manual crank desks cost less but are slower to adjust, so people tend to change positions less often.
Can I try a standing desk before I buy?
Yes. Visit our North Portland showroom to try sit-stand desks in person. Walk-ins are welcome, but we highly recommend booking an appointment.
Do you deliver and install office furniture outside Portland?
Yes. Our own trained installation crews serve the entire Portland metro area — including Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Gresham and Vancouver, WA — and we deliver and install throughout Oregon, including Salem, Eugene and Central Oregon. We also furnish offices for national customers.
